Oorah told my daughter that if she buys a raffle to win the monkey, she will win, because she will be the only ticket. If she had bought and won would that qualify as having "been chosen". (Another important q is, if she won the ticket that multiplies your winnings x100, would they have given her a hundred monkeys!?!?)
How can we use the term "אשר בחר בנו מכל העמים" if all the nations were also offered the torah.
